같은 시기에 추진된 수도권 5대 신도시 중에서 일산신도시는 ‘전원도시로서의 일산’을 목표로 하였다. 따라서 일산신도시 조경계획은 입지조건 등 제반 환경여건을 감안한 쾌적하고 차별화된 도시환경을 조성하는 것이 중요한 과제로 대두되었다.
이 프로젝트를 통해 일산 신도시 오픈스페이스 체계 수립과 호수공원, 중앙공원, 중앙광장 등 주요 거점공원에 대한 조성 방향을 마련하고자 하였다.
신도시 사업지구 내 유일하게 원래의 지형과 식생이 보존되는 정발산 지역은 중앙공원으로 조성되어 개발이전의 흔적을 간직하도록 계획되었다.
중앙광장은 두 개의 거점공원을 연결하여 일산신도시 오픈 스페이스의 골격을 형성했다. 호수공원으로부터 중앙광장, 중앙공원에 이르는 중심 녹지축은 도시경관에 방향성을 제공하며 시민들의 도시 활동 기반이 되었다. 한강변에 위치한 저지대로 상습침수지였던 지역에 대규모 호수공원이 계획되었다.
이 인공호수는 일산신도시의 어메니티 요소로서 도시생태계의 기반이 되며, 도시경관의 질 제고, 시민들의 여가활동의 장소로 기여하게 된다. 신도시 구상단계에서 유수지에 제안했던 호수공원은 이제 일산신도시의 대표경관이자 도시브랜드로 자리잡게 되었다.
Ilsan New Town, one of the metropolitan area’s fifth cities which are promoted at the same time, has a goal to become as a garden city. Therefore, a site plan of the city is the most significant project in this time. The site plan should be concerned whether the different urban environment such as the pleasant settlement condition will be provided. Through this project, the plan provides the direction which focuses on three main parks, lake park, central park, central plaza.
Also, the plan represents the system of the urban open space. Jeongbal-san(mountain) is planned to be a central park so that the area can keep and preserve its original shape and vegetation.
The central plaza connects two main parks so that this design forms urban open space. The green axis formed from the lake park to the central plaza and the central park provides the direction of urban landscape. The concept of the axis is based on citizen's activities. The giant lake park was planned in an area which was used to be a lowland of a riverside of Hanriver.
The man-made lake will be a cornerstone of the urban ecosystem as the important factors for Ilsan amenity. Also, the lake will serve as an area for recreation and it increases the quality of the urban landscape. The lake park which was used to be a reservoir became the landmark and the new brand of Ilsan. |
